How It Works

Student does something commendable

Teacher recognizes this and awards them School Bucks

Students can cash in their bucks for prizes

By utilizing positive reinforcement through pseudo-currency known as School Bucks, we aim to re-engage and re-excite students about learning and personal growth.

Impact

Covid has exacerbated the gap in quality education. We talked with students and teachers at LAUSD about virtual learning struggles that have compounded systemic issues even more. This is the reality of students in elementary schools across the country, and in our very own home of South Central.

We work closely with students and teachers in LAUSD, and have earned teacher approvals across the district.
